UAMS AHEC-SW (Texarkana) offered another HOHC program to local high school students in and around the Texarkana area. Due to the overwhelming response we were able to turn that one program into three and completely fill each program with 20 plus students grades 9-12. We just completed our third program and found all three to be a great success! Students were taught about many different health professions and participated in hands on activities throughout the day. We are scheduled to host our next program in February 2012.
