At the end of April this year, UAMS Health Careers Recruiters Yalanda Young (AHEC-NE) and Janet Ligon (Delta AHEC), joined forces to bring a “Day in the Life” program to Forrest City. East Arkansas Community College (EACC) generously hosted the event for 20+ students from surrounding rural areas. They learned about a number of different career opportunities in the healthcare industry and learned their way around the EACC campus.

These Day in the Life programs are a staple at our AHECs all across the state.
