This week’s ArkansasHealthCareers.com web video features Lacey Thomasson, a Physical Therapist Assistant student in El Dorado. She is driven by a desire to help people and enjoys the social interaction that comes with being a Physical Therapist’s Assistant. As part of the recovery team, PTAs help patients recover from injury, surgery, and other setbacks in life that hinder their ability to move. Seeing patients progress over time is one of the main things Lacey looks forward to as a PTA.

This week’s ArkansasHealthCareers.com video focuses on Delta AHEC in Helena, AR, where Janet Ligon organized A Day in the Life of a Nurse. These Day in the Life programs are a staple at our AHECs all across the state.
