What The Heck’s An AHEC Video

Simply put, an AHEC is an Area Health Education Center. There are AHECs all over the country. According to their facebook page, their purpose is, “Connecting Students to Careers – Professionals to Communities – and Communities to Better Health.” This website is an outreach project of the Arkansas AHECs.
We just produced a new video, which you can see below, explaining exactly what the Arkansas AHECs do. As you’ll find out, they exist primarily to decentralize medical education in Arkansas, but they do so much more than that. Be sure to Check it Out!
