Thankfully, the Arkansas AHEC Program, in conjunction with the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences has developed a comprehensive guide to help you do just that. The Arkansas Health Careers Guide is a pdf document detailing over 60 different professions in the medical field. You can go through this publication at your own pace to find a health-related career that matches your interests.
The document also highlights educational facilities around the state of Arkansas at which you can train for each of these exciting careers. The post-high school commitment for these careers ranges from 6 months to 10 years or more, so you can use this tool to find the perfect job for you in the health care field in Arkansas.
